Lutsch 2000 is situated on the national road no7 (DN7), km
488+337, heading from East, that is from Sibiu-Brasov, to the West, to
Deva-Arad. It is 10 kilometers away from Sebes and 20 kilometers from Orastie.
Lutsch 2000 tourist centre includes:
-a restaurant
-a terrace
-a gas station
-a department store
-three pensions (boarding houses) for 50 tourists
-five halls for different occasions, for 150 to 400 persons
-a Zoo where one can see deer, bucks, bears, boars,
pheasants, wild ducks, etc.
-a chapel
The founders are Saxons who came back from Germany
in 1993 in order to establish this tourist center and live in their rich native
area. Preserving the Saxon tradition, all the members of the family are
involved in the activity of the center in order to maintain a ”family
business”. Michael Lutsch is the manager and the firm bears his name. This way
the tourist centre is associated with seriousness, household management, and a
high quality of services – all these being features of the Saxon community in
Ardeal area.
The tourist centre offers a wide range of services, such
as:
-guarded parking lots (for trucks, boarding houses, halls)
-lunch in the restaurant or on the terrace
-a diversified menu
-boarding in affordable rooms. The room facilities include:
TV, single or double beds, bathroom. The boarding houses are situated within a
special and quiet scenery.
-gas station
-halls for different occasions/ festivities. The halls are
fully equiped (kitchen, refrigeration rooms, sound systems, etc.). It is
possible to rent only the hall.
-organization of special events
-trade of different objects.
The centre also offers the possibility to visit the Zoo or
Katharina Chapel for a moment of self-communion.
Having so many possibilities concentrated in one centre is
itself a great deal and customers can thus save time and money.
